(Me) Here right before me is one of the people I have to defeat…myself
(Oppo) Say Jordan, humans are ugly, short-lived why don’t you accept the zombie tattoo. Then you will have the promise of eternity.
(Me) Don’t be ridiculous! I’m a human. Who’d want to become a zombie like you?
(Oppo) I don’t understand. Why do you dwell on a life that is fragile and transient?
(Me) I haven’t lived all that long and I don’t understand it very well, but it must be because of the fragility and transience that humanity is beautiful. You’ve lost that radiance! I don’t want to lose that light!
(Oppo) It must be an ideology borne of environment…that you cannot accept it. Those like Roland who desire it will be saved. You are pitiable.
